  • Dr. Earl Tilford arranged for U.S. Army BG Kenneth Chrosniak to speak in Sticht Auditorium at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 22.  His topic was "A Soldier's Tour in Iraq."  It included videos and Power Point slides covering aspects of the current war in Iraq and his assignment as Chief of Staff of the Strategy, Plans and Assessment Division on General Casey's staff in Baghdad.  Chrosniak also replaced the warden at Abu Ghraib after the revelations about misconduct (torture) and reformed the situation there.  He is retired and currently working in the Center for Strategic Leadership at the U.S. Army War College.

  • Dr. Tilford has also accepted an invitation by the Interfaith Taskforce for America and Israel (ITAI) to participate as a panelist in a June 11 symposium titled, "The Jihadist Islamic Threat to the Judeo-Christian Way of Life."  The panel will include: Rev. Peter Manzo (Episcopal pastor) and attorney; Walid Shubat, a professor and former Palestinian terrorist who converted to Christianity and speaks openly about Islam; Walid Phares, author of the recent book "Future Jihad" and Professor (Political Science) at Florida Atlantic U. and Middle East commentator on Fox, MSNBC, BBC, Al Arabya, Al Jazeera, etc.; and the Honorable Jim Saxton (R-NJ), Member of the U.S. Congress.
