Cory Shreckengost is a research scholar and think-tank analyst whose compositions have appeared in various periodicals across the nation and around the globe. His research has been featured in a number of bestselling books, along with his written work being published and cited by a variety of publications such as: The National Review Online, TownHall.com, The Metro Herald, OrthodoxyToday.org, and OpinionEditorials.com, among others. His articles have been circulated through the United Nations Environment Programme and have generated attention from major media outlets such as Rush Limbaugh's “stack of stuff” and the Fox News Channel, which extended an invitation to appear on “Fox News Live.”
Through the Hoover Institution on War, Revolution, and Peace at Stanford University, Shreckengost has also worked as a research assistant for a book written by the bestselling author, Peter Schweizer. Widely-acclaimed for its meticulous research, Schweizer's book—Do As I Say (Not As I Do)—was a New York Times Best Seller and climbed to #1 on Amazon.com's nonfiction bestseller list. It was lauded as being "the book of the century" by the bestselling literary icon, Ann Coulter, and another author commented, "The quality of investigative research in this book would make even Woodward and Bernstein proud." Beyond this, Shreckengost has served as an editorial assistant to Paul Kengor, Ph.D. for two bestselling books: God and Ronald Reagan and God and George W. Bush. He has also assisted Kengor with the authorized biography of former Ronald Reagan confidant and national security adviser, William P. Clark.
Shreckengost has worked with several esteemed literary agencies to develop comprehensive proposals and marketing plans for books intended for the popular nonfiction market, including an insightful political commentary, as well as a book that delves into the heart of science, education, technology, and intellectual expansion. The latter has been the subject of consultations with production companies in reference to pursuing a PBS-style documentary film adaptation of a proposed book manuscript.
Shreckengost is currently a policy analyst and research associate with The Center for Vision & Values at Grove City College. Prior to coming to The Center for Vision & Values, he has authored opinion-editorials, policy papers, public policy briefs, and guest newspaper columns for numerous entities and think tanks. He has served as a research scholar/policy analyst at the Shenango Institute for Public Policy, an associated scholar with the Susquehanna Valley Center for Public Policy, and is a Mackinac Center for Public Policy Leadership Conference Alum.
Shreckengost earned his B.S. in both Political Science and Business Management from Grove City College and is a member of American Mensa, Ltd.
